Your role

As a Senior Developer at Global Relay working on the Information Systems team, you'll be using leading edge technologies to develop and support services to satisfy the business needs for Global Relay's internal Sales and Financial Systems, which span customer and partner portals, ERPs, CRMs, Data Models and Global Relay's products. The initial focus will be building solutions for Salesforce's Cloud platform, but will evolve into a role that will also include building integration solutions with other 3rd party systems.

Technologies in use:

• Operating Systems (Ubuntu/Rocky Linux)
• Build customizations and integrations with CRM's (Salesforce), ERP's (NetSuite), customer/partner portals, and other off the shelf software used by Finance and customer facing teams, in addition to Global Relay products
• Work as part of an agile development team to write quality code for enterprise services, ensuring there is test coverage for all code
• Collaborate with Developers, Testers, Architecture, Product, Finance team to refine requirements
• Build CI/CD pipelines and managing production deployments of code
• Automate team processes and build on the existing automation framework
• Monitor and support operation of production systems
• Maintain compliance with Global Relay standards for development best practices, security and other policies
• Evaluate new technology by participating in requirements definition, research, and proof of concepts
• Participate in knowledge sharing activities with colleagues

About you

• 8+ years of experience as a Software Developer, with SF Platform Developer I Certification
• Thorough understanding of Salesforce development (with Apex and Lightning), configuration and administration
• Experience developing integrations with ERP and CRM systems
• Understanding of software development best practices, including testing and security best practices
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with the following technology is required:
  • Apex
  • Lightning Web Components, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
  • Salesforce Cloud API's
  • Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL)
  • Salesforce CLI and plugin development using Typescript
  • Java (for test automation)
  • Git
• The following experience is an asset:
  • Bash (for building deployment scripts)
  • Jenkins and Groovy (for CI/CD pipeline development)
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Integration Platform as a Service (iPAAS)
  • Business Intelligence software tools such as Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse/NetSuite Analytics Warehouse
  • Static code analysis tooling, such as SonarQube
  • Building micro-services

Compensation:
Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in accordance with the pay transparency laws of the province of British Columbia. In addition to the annual base salary (range listed below), compensation for this role also includes a corporate bonus, extended health benefits, and RRSP Matching, and (for applicable Sales roles) an enticing commission structure.

British Columbia - Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 CAD
