SENIOR SALES MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an individual with a proven history of success in automotive sales with previous experience who is looking to take the next step in their career. We are looking for an individual who is open minded, willing to learn, and who possesses the flexibility to work both new and pre-owned as required. The primary role will be working with our sales team daily to generate appointments, appraise trades, and help close deals. This position is responsible for managing the sales consultants and ensuring their success. You must be dedicated to motivating your team in order to achieve monthly sales targets and ensuring that all members of the team have the training and resources necessary to be successful in their jobs. The successful candidate should have experience in retail automotive sales of no less than 1 to 3 years, a valid Alberta drivers license, an AMVIC license, and the Sales Manager must be familiar with the ability to desk deals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction by creating a customer focused environment and continuously strive to improve the customer experience.
- Hands-on closing deals on sales floor
- Trade-in appraisals
- Enthusiastically assist salespeople in customer interactions, enhancing the customer experience and satisfaction during the entire purchase experience
- Coach, train, manage, mentor, and motivate sales staff
- Ensure the team meets the monthly new car and used car target while supervising sales consultants to ensure individual sales quotas are met.
- Ensure sales staff reach appointment quotas and help book appointments as needed
- Hold meetings with sales staff and facilitate sales training for continued team growth.
- Ensure staff understand and follow department policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper follow up of all buyers and potential buyers
- Other duties may be assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of previous experience in Automotive Sales Management
- Great attitude, high-energy personality with the ability to drive results through mentorship
- Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
- Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written.
- DEALERSOKET or another CRM Application an asset.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- AMVIC license.
