As a Senior Recruiter, You Will
Execute full-cycle recruitment within a broad and complex portfolio by partnering with assigned hiring managers inclusive of vice-president and above.
Apply high level of strategic thought-partnership and influence, supports a wide variety of client groups across multiple assignments, functions and profiles.
Drive hiring process and helps teams achieve results by developing, influencing and driving accountability among recruiters and business for talent acquisition strategies and initiatives.
Leverages and influences talent acquisition performance metrics to set and achieve goals, hold self and hiring managers accountable, improve effectiveness and drive strategic planning.
Consistently utilizes, champions, and identifies improvements for existing support tools and platforms for increased candidate engagement.
Leverages deep recruiting expertise to execute and mentor, including sourcing, market mapping, strategy building and execution.
Champions inclusion and diversity in the recruitment process to drive team results.
Develops and manages relationships with external parties to build a high quality and diverse candidate pool.
Remains current on trends within functional portfolios and external best practices within talent acquisition while educating their peer group.
Proactively identifies and solves complex problems, bringing others along to execute cross-functional plans that drive team and business priorities.
Conducts analysis of current state and develops and drives a plan for incremental improvement.
Creates and delivers Quarterly Business Reviews.
Takes a consultative approach to change, remains nimble and is able to quickly and independently navigate into new assignments or support of new client groups.
Contributes to the allocation and prioritization of work among recruiters within a business unit alignment while influencing a strategic direction.
Proactively initiates projects and/or programs that help the team live our Mission & Values, while demonstrating welcoming behavior and practices that allow for inclusive collaboration to support company and team initiatives.
Builds trust-based relationships that contribute to the success of others.
Creates and contributes to a positive and productive team environment.
Actively collaborates with VPs and human resources business partners to understand headcount planning, influences forecasting process across a region or larger business portfolio and holds self and business accountable to results.
Engages in timely and appropriate communications with all candidates, hiring managers, vendors, generalists and other stakeholders.
Fosters relationships with high potential candidates for future opportunities. Ensures that candidates have a highly positive experience during the Starbucks recruitment and selection process.
We’d Love To Hear From People With
Full cycle corporate recruiting for an in-house high-growth business, or agency preferred (5 years).
Experience developing hiring manager capabilities and advising businesses on the most effective hiring strategies (5 years).
Experience and success recruiting in a fast-paced and dynamic culture (4 years).
Senior level, complex, high tech recruitment (3 years).
Leadership experience (2 years).
Bilingual French / English is preferred.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong talent assessment skills.
Create and implement effective recruiting strategies.
Balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to influence and provide expert consultation to business leaders.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, applicant tracking systems, technology based recruiting tools and resources.
Staffing skills, including gap analysis, reporting, measurement, and process development.
Strong understanding of compensation, benefits and training as they relate to staffing and career, succession planning.
