Title: Senior Quality Assurance Analyst (Onsite)

Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst (Onsite) for our Federal Government client.

Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Review and analyze Business Requirements and Solution Design documents
2. Design test scenarios and test cases
3. Identify and/or create test data for specific test cases
4. Execute test cases and analyze results
5. Report, track, and retest defects
6. Participate in daily huddles to report on testing progress and/or barriers
7. Participate in Sprint Planning sessions and other agile ceremonies as required
8. Follow escalation process to resolve issues in a timely manner
9. Support business with User Acceptance testing processes and deliverables as required
10. Proactively manage workload
11. Perform other duties and functions as assigned

Specific Project/Platform Requirements

1. 3-5 years’ experience as a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst service provider or similar services
2. Experience with various software development methodologies including but not necessarily limited to Agile
3. Experience working in an Agile environment
4. Experience/knowledge of all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
5. Consistent demonstration of clear and concise written and oral communication skills
6. Knowledge and hands-on experience with a Defect Tracking tool
7. Knowledge and hands-on experience with a Test Management Tool

2. Working knowledge of JIRA Defect Tracking tool
3. Experience or knowledge of testing cloud based application
