Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex IT projects, manage proposals, governance, and enterprise-scale delivery in the healthcare sector.

Must Have

  1. Post-secondary degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  2. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  3. Experience managing IT software or infrastructure projects with budgets over $2M and teams exceeding 5 FTEs
  4. 5+ years of project management experience in enterprise-scale environments with interfaced systems and formal change control practices

Nice to Have

  1. Experience in healthcare, data analytics, or IT-related settings – 3+ years
  2. Strong experience with MS Office Suite including Project and Visio – 3+ years
  3. Familiarity with IT architecture, support environments, and modern IT platforms – 2+ years
  4. Experience with organizational change management across large organizations – 2+ years

Description

The client requires a Senior Project Manager to lead the development and execution of IT infrastructure or software projects. This includes authoring project documentation, developing governance models and budgets, managing delivery teams, and ensuring timely execution. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and matrixed environment involving both IT and non-IT stakeholders. Experience in healthcare or similar regulated environments is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

  1. Author project proposals, including clinical and business drivers
  2. Define stakeholder analysis, governance models, and project schedules
  3. Develop topology, security, and privacy deliverables
  4. Initiate and manage projects with internal, partner, and vendor resources
  5. Coordinate delivery of technical documentation
  6. Manage and schedule full project lifecycles
  7. Lead project planning, estimating, and execution activities
  8. Track project progress and report to leadership and stakeholders
  9. Maintain issue tracking and decision logs
  10. Manage and support cross-functional project teams
  11. Ensure appropriate communication at all stakeholder levels
  12. Support change management and transition activities
