ROSS is a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth. We provide remote or onsite HR and Recruitment solutions such as Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), complemented by leading edge open-source HRIS software.
The Senior Project Manager, Development will be responsible for leading and managing the development of a Wealth Management project.
Requirements:
- Solid Project Management leadership experience (5+ years)
- Project planning and project management expertise
- Expert in standard project management methodologies including PMP, PRINCE, Agile or similar is strongly preferred
- Experience in progress reporting, issue resolution, action tracking, and ability to identify risks and create risk mitigation plans
- Experience in resource planning, defining skill set requirements, and people management
- Ability to execute against project plan timelines to deliver agreed upon deliverables within approved budget
- 5+ years experience in development; implementations, design, documentation etc.
- Demonstrated people and communication skills, including client management and written and verbal communications.
- Must understand the vendor environment
- Canadian Securities Course is a nice to have
- Wide understanding of Wealth Management (potentially including retail and commercial banking, risk, treasury, capital markets, wealth management, support functions)
- Demonstrated ability to lead combined with a calm professional demeanor and ability to work with all levels of the organization from analysts to executives
- Self-motivated independent thinker with experience on larger projects (6-12 month requirements phase)
- Creative problem-solving and strong diagnostic and analytical skills
- Strong organizational, follow-up and priority-setting skills
- Quick learner – e.g., able to quickly understand an application’s high-level functionality
- Ability to work independently to accomplish tasks assigned
- Experience following structured methodologies and frameworks
- French speaking is a strong asset
