Senior Project Manager

Role Description:

The ETS Merger Technical Integration team is responsible for the successful integration of a merger of two firms. It is a large-scale, multiyear, complex program that spans across multiple technical disciplines and locations.

The role of Integration Project Manager is to lead and manage multiple sub-projects and deliverables under a program manager in a structured and efficient manner by means of following a mature program lifecycle.

The project manager will be collaborating with a substantial number of Technology teams from both companies in their efforts to integrate. This role will be part of the Program Management team which operates across the Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) division and will be responsible for leading workstreams and providing project management support for various deliverables.

The Project Manager is responsible for planning and delivering various project phases and acts as a point of contact for a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:

1. Drive end-to-end execution of projects/program consisting of multiple work streams.
2. Risk, action, issues, and dependencies identification, resolution/mitigation co-ordination.
3. Development of detailed delivery plans, information documents, and status reporting.
4. Coordinate across local, regional, and global projects, virtual teams, and matrix-managed teams.
5. Facilitating project meetings, tracking and publishing actions, plans, risks, and issues.
6. Develop detailed project plans working with a large number of technical teams.
7. Develop and execute detailed migration plans.
8. Adherence to project lifecycle quality and policy standards.
9. Create and articulate executive-level communication on a project or program level.
10. Responsible for senior stakeholder management, communications, and escalation.
11. Track, monitor, and report a large number of risks and remediation plans across Infrastructure workstreams.
12. Data center migrations and app migration work.

Experience & Skills required (Must have):

1. Project management of IT Infrastructure and experience of differing execution methodologies such as waterfall, agile/scrum, and hybrid approaches.
2. Good understanding and ability to work across disparate technological environments including End user technology, Server (Compute) platforms, Networking (Voice and Data), Cloud, Datacenter, and applications technologies.
3. Strong hands-on knowledge in one or more Technology areas above is preferred.
4. Merger and technology integration experience.
5. Excellent written/reporting skills.
6. Ability to indirectly manage virtual team members from a diverse cultural background and locations.
7. Highly organized and strong problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to multi-task and manage several projects concurrently.
9. Excellent MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Excel, MS Project) skills.
10. Ability to develop and track metrics and outcomes.
11. Proactive, positive, strong sense of ownership and accountability.
12. A sound background for the adherence to business processes and procedures.
13. Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
14. Ability to be flexible, work independently, be self-motivated, and a team player.

Experience & Skills (Nice to have):

1. Project management certifications e.g., Agile certifications, PMP certified (or equivalent recognized professional standard).
2. Financial industry experience, preferably tier 1 Investment banking experience.
