Senior Project Manager

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of projects following DOH’s Project Management Framework. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure successful delivery. The manager will provide regular status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders and represent projects in external presentations and forums.

Responsibilities:

1. Provision of oversight and direction to assigned projects to ensure execution of their duties and delivery, including:
2. Project scope, schedule, and cost management using project management methodologies;
3. Project timeline and resource planning and monitoring;
4. Budget planning and monitoring;
5. Planning, coordinating, and implementation;
6. Issue and risk management to address areas of concern, changes in scope, and budget overruns;
7. Team management, including internal and external resources;
8. Preparation of status reports.
9. Regular reporting to DOH Executive Management as required;
10. Attendance of and reporting to Steering Committee Meetings of individual projects.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Senior Project Management Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years in a Senior Project Manager role

Digital Health / eHealth Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years as a Senior Project Manager in the digital health/eHealth space within a Canadian jurisdiction

IM/IT Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Management/Information Technology

Salesforce Solution Delivery Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years managing projects delivering solutions on the Salesforce platform

Availability:

• Must be immediately available to work onsite in Fredericton, NB upon assignment of contract

Desirable Skills and Attributes

eHealth Project Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years managing technology projects in the eHealth space, preferably in a Senior Project Manager role

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Minimum of 7 years with strong communication planning, coordination, and presentation experience

Complex Project Management:

• Minimum of 5 years managing large, complex projects involving:

• Multiple business units and organizations (4–5+)
• Numerous direct participants (15+)
• Business transformation and technical issue resolution

Project Execution Activities:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in issue/risk management, change control, implementation, and transition

IT Team Leadership:

• Minimum of 5 years leading teams of specialists on IT development projects

Salesforce Health Cloud Implementation:

• Minimum of 2 years as Senior Project Manager for projects implementing Salesforce Health Cloud solutions

Shared Services Environment Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a shared services environment

Project Management Certification:

• Possess a recognized Project Management certification
