We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Landscape Architect! The successful applicant will be responsible for the strategic and schematic planning and design of City parks, urban spaces and public art projects. The position will supervise junior staff and assist the Department Manager with staff mentoring and performance evaluations. Responsibilities include overseeing the selection of consultants, managing resources, overseeing project communications, strategic planning, preliminary design, detailed design, scheduling, budgeting, and monitoring projects through tender preparation for City of Kelowna parks and public spaces. Projects will include strategic plans, concept plans, and design for new construction, renewal, alteration, rehabilitation, or improvements to parks and urban realm, monumentation, beautification, and public art. This position will take professional responsibility for projects and seal drawings, as required. Utilize your related design experience to help enhance Kelowna’s beautiful landscapes and infrastructure.
