Senior Programmer Analyst - Remote / Telecommute

Job Description:

Deliverables:

1. The successful candidate must deliver the following to successfully complete the engagement:
2. Problem identification and solution proposal: Analyze bugs and/or change requests for modifications to existing functionality and propose solutions for fixes and/or updates to the support team.
3. Solution development: Implement approved solutions to problems throughout the appropriate areas of the technology stack (i.e., Database, triggers, PL/SQL and form or report).
4. Application development: As required, potentially develop new small to medium applications to meet provided functional requirements as requested by the manager and/or supervisor.
5. Technical Documentation: Provide or update documentation per unit standards (to be provided as needed) to support bug fixes and/or implemented changes.
6. Participate in team scrums: As a member of the overall support team, take part in team scrums and meetings to report on progress, issues, etc.

Mandate Requirements:

1. Years of IM/IT Experience: 7 Years.
2. Experience as a Programmer Analyst: 5 Years.

Scored Requirements:

1. Experience in developing Oracle Forms & Reports based interfaces using a variety of controls and validations: 5 years.
2. Experience in Oracle PL/SQL including creation, maintenance and debugging of advanced packages, procedures, and functions: 5 years.
3. Experience in Oracle PL/SQL including creation, maintenance and debugging of assorted database event triggers: 5 years.
4. Experience in interpreting and defining Oracle database table and field specifications for complex systems with multiple interdependencies: 5 years.
5. Experience in reading and analyzing complex database schemas: 5 years.
6. Experience working with a distributed team across multiple disciplines (Business Analysts, DBAs, Developers, and end users): 3 years.
7. Experience requiring strong verbal and written communication skills, able to target communications to audience (e.g., technical, non-technical): 3 years.
8. Experience working in a team environment with a focus on support and maintenance demonstrating strong interpersonal skills: 3 years.
