Who you are:

Geotab is seeking a Senior Product Content Lead who will serve as the central coordinator and curator of Geotab’s product content ecosystem, ensuring that all product release information is accurate, consistent, and accessible. This role manages the content cycle, cadence, and strategy for product updates, acting as a vital bridge between Product, Product Marketing, Enablement, Content Solutions, and downstream teams to drive alignment and enhance product understanding and adoption. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!

What you'll do:

As a Senior Product Content Lead, you will facilitate the development of product release content—spanning blogs, videos, emails, webinars, and in-app messaging intended for Geotab’s Customers, Partners, and Staff—by working closely with subject matter experts to gather, refine, and organize information. This role upholds rigorous content governance and standards, and is responsible for content management, ensuring all product release materials are developed and maintained to the highest standards. This role also ensures that product content is ready on time, and ahead of each release, to support seamless product launches. By aligning product release information with broader content strategies and business objectives, this role significantly enhances the customer experience, supports Geotab’s growth, and ensures seamless product adoption across the organization.

How you'll make an impact

  1. Drive the end-to-end coordination of core product release content, focusing on the organization and accessibility of key updates.
  2. Own and manage the structure of central assets, product release content, including release notes, "What’s New" blogs, and product update materials.
  3. Establish and uphold governance and standards for all product release content, ensuring consistency in brand identity, tone, and quality.
  4. Coordinate content readiness for each product release cycle, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate and polished documentation and related materials.
  5. Maintain and update the new product support site page to align with overall content strategy.
  6. Manage the centralized product information repository for internal stakeholders, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure content is accurate, organized, and readily accessible for their use in multichannel external interfaces and communication channels, including web, email, and PRM platforms such as PXHub.
  7. Communicate product updates to internal teams managing knowledge bases, guides, and training content.
  8. Collaborate with Product Management Operations to streamline content flow across teams.
  9. Extract and synthesize content from SMEs and PMMs to create clear, engaging product messaging.
  10. Write and polish content across multiple formats: blogs, emails, videos, and in-app messaging.
  11. Manage in-app content using Walkme, Strapi, and Heretto; oversee drafting, testing, publishing, and analytics.
  12. Manage the centralized internal content repository and ensure content is tailored to different audiences.
  13. Develop and implement a content strategy for product releases that aligns with Geotab's overall communication goals.
  14. Define, track, and analyze key product metrics (e.g., NPS, North Star Metrics, user behavior data) to provide actionable insights to inform strategy and planning.
  15. Regularly share insights with Product and Leadership teams to inform planning and prioritization.
  16. Identify and implement improvements to content delivery formats and processes.

What you'll bring to the role

  1. 5–8 years of previous experience in product content strategy, product marketing, technical writing, content management, or enablement within a SaaS, software, or technology-driven organization.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Content Creation & Management, Communications, Marketing, Technical Writing, Product Management, or a related field.
  3. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in a related field may be substituted.
  4. Expertise in multi-channel content strategy, stakeholder communication, and content governance, ensuring alignment across teams.
  5. Proven ability to translate complex technical information into clear, engaging, and audience-friendly content for internal and external use.
  6. Strong familiarity with CMS (e.g. Heretto), in-app messaging, and analytics platforms (e.g., Walkme, Strapi, Heretto, Pendo).
  7. Proficiency in product management and feedback tools (e.g., Jira, Productboard, NPS, CSAT) to track and optimize content effectiveness.
  8. Skilled in data organization, reporting, and documentation publishing, including Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides), CSS, HTML and XML.
  9. Experience collaborating with Product Management and Product Marketing teams to ensure consistent, accurate, and high-impact content.
  10. Product Ecosystem Mastery: Deep understanding of product ecosystems, content management systems (Walkme, Strapi, Heretto), and their impact on user experience.
  11. Content Orchestration: Proven ability to manage complex content lifecycles and ensure consistent delivery across multiple channels.
  12. Technical Content Proficiency: Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and engaging content.
  13. Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  14. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to align and facilitate communication between cross-functional teams.
  15. Content Management Expertise: Experience managing and organizing large volumes of content, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  16. Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
