This Opportunity

Reporting into the Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Accounting, this role involves managing portfolio accounting for top-tier clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables, and providing exceptional client support. Responsibilities include risk management, client implementation, and acting as the main point of contact for client queries. The role requires expertise in financial instruments, reconciliation, and technical skills, along with strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, the role involves participating in projects and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Accounting: Monitor daily/monthly deliverables, ensure SLAs are met, review reports for accuracy, manage complex issues, and provide enhanced client support.
  • Risk Management: Take responsibility for risks, align processes with best practices, and maintain clear communication with offshore teams and clients.
  • Client Implementation: Collaborate with the implementation team to define processes, manage project timelines, and realign client expectations.
  • Client Contact: Act as the main point of contact, acknowledge queries within 3 hours, and provide resolutions within 1 business day.
  • Portfolio Accounting Expertise: Understand financial instruments, loan products, security setups, trade capture, corporate actions, and market data management.
  • Reconciliation & Controls: Expertise in cash/position reconciliation, valuation controls, and prompt resolution of discrepancies.

A Little Bit About You

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant business field such as accounting or finance.
  • You have gained at least 3 years’ experience in the fund administration industry.
  • You are known for your excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You have strong MS Excel and Word skills.
  • You have a detail-oriented mindset.
  • You are adept in problem solving and willing to take on challenges.
