About this team:

Global Planning supports the Planning & Allocation function by being the financial stewards of the Product area. Our team has the eagle-eye view of all planning for Lululemon. We work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Mainline Planning, FP&A, Sourcing, Strategy, and Product Ops, to provide a company-level view of our growth plans as it relates to Sales, Inventory, and Margin.

A day in the life:

The Sr Planner, Global Planning is accountable for driving Global Planning objectives forward through sales planning and analytics, from Topline revenue trends to more detailed sales buckets (Regular Price & Markdowns). This person is a leader who drives understanding through stakeholder influence, partnership, investigation and digging into the unknown, enabling focus and growth of our company revenue goals.

  1. Drive weekly, monthly and quarterly Global Sales planning and analytics process, providing guidance, and global point of view, to share within Planning and cross functionally.
  2. Manage topline revenue planning & analytics by sales bucket (regular price, markdown) including impact to Product Margin.
  3. Work cross functionally to influence and share information regarding sales trends, risks and opportunities, and forecasting process.
  4. Key contributor to cross-functional meetings, including Executive Open-to-Buy, QBR, Topline Open-to-Buy, and Buy Sign Off.
  5. Develop and roll-out updated sales planning process & process map, including updating and maintaining revenue planning tools.

Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of related experience, preferably in a vertically integrated, apparel, footwear, global, specialty retail environment. MBA or CMA an asset.
  • Proven track record of driving results; demonstration of strong financial & business acumen as well as ability to work with a cross functional team.
  • Ability to influence conversations and meetings across the organization at multiple levels, particularly around understanding trends and driving process.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and operate under tight time constraints with a strong sense of urgency.

Compensation and Benefits Package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $119,200-$156,500 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
