If this sounds like you, our Senior Operations Accountant role that is based in Prince George, BC may be the one you’ve been waiting for.
Your primary focus will be to provide the operations management team with relevant financial and statistical analysis in regards to strategic plans and operating budgets. As a key member of the Canfor Pulp finance team, you will be trusted with preparing and presenting a full range of operational, financial and management accounting reporting on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. You will also assist providing coverage for weekly cost reporting, KPI reporting and the preparation of the annual business plan and forecasting.
A day in the life of a Senior Operations Accountant will include:
Ideally, you have your CPA designation and/or have 5+ years of related accounting experience, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment. You have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail and the insatiable need to be in a fast-paced environment. Working in a team environment is second nature to you and your ability to jump in where needed most is what sets you apart from your counterparts. “Compound our interest” in your application by expressing your willingness to relocate to any of our operations.
The salary range for this position is: $98,000.00-$122,500.00
