The Housing Division of the Ministry of Social Services is looking for a flexible, motivated, and creative communicator to fill the role of Senior Operational Policy Analyst on our Operational Policy and Communication team.
Who we are:
- The Operational Policy and Communication (OPC) team is responsible for the development, delivery, and maintenance of operational policies and communication for Saskatchewan Housing Corporation (SHC).
- As part of Housing Division, the OPC team is also responsible for written ministry requests including letters, briefing notes, and materials for legislative sessions.

What you’ll do:
- Design communication materials to support SHC’s programs and services, using audience‑friendly writing, graphic design principles, and visual identity standards.
- Create and deliver communication strategies that align with corporate and ministry priorities.
- Develop correspondence and briefing materials on complex, diverse, and sensitive issues.
- Research and develop operational policies, processes, and standards and anticipate the needs of end users.
- Manage digital information and correspondence between SHC and the housing authority network, including developing materials for a portal and website.
What you’ll bring:
- Significant writing experience and the ability to apply principles of communication.
- Ability to manage projects and work collaboratively with others to achieve results.
- An understanding of document structures and experience creating written documents, such as manuals, guides and forms.
- Experience using SharePoint and Adobe Creative Cloud apps are definite assets.
- A degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or a related field of study, plus related work experience.

Hours of Work: A - SGEU Office 36 - one day off every two weeks
