We’re searching for a Senior Medical Writer with a background/experience in the pharma creative agency space with deep PAAB experience. You have 5+ years in both creative agency and PAAB.
Responsibilities- Strong understanding of PAAB guidelines, Veeva, IMC Code of Conduct, Food and Drugs.
- Adapt, create, and edit copy for multiple Canadian pharma therapeutic areas for both medical communication and commercial purposes.
- Work closely with the team to provide writing and editorial support to new and ongoing projects within the healthcare space.
- Join the growing medical copywriting team at Publicis Health Toronto (PHT).
- Familiar with clinical studies and product monographs and experienced in translating clinical data into key brand messages.
- In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical marketing and the pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiar with relevant regulatory requirements within the pharmaceutical marketing environment.
Qualifications- 5+ years of medical copywriting experience in an agency setting.
- University or Master’s degree preferably in Science.
- Strong understanding of PAAB guidelines, Veeva, IMC Code of Conduct, Food and Drugs.
- A portfolio that demonstrates a wide range of produced communications materials in pharmaceutical marketing including sales aids, professional and consumer advertising, patient material, disease education and awareness communications, and other related communications for print and digital media.
- Exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Clear, concise, and factual writing. Team player - able to collaborate with all levels of internal and external partners.
- Ability to confidently and independently liaise with clients by email, audio/video-conference, and in person.
- Strong analytical, interpretive, and conceptual skills.
- Exceptional presentation skills.
- Proven ability to articulate a point of view as a strategic problem solver.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
