About your next Challenge as a Senior Manager, Operations:
Role:
- Under the supervision of the Operations Director located in Mirabel (Qc), the Senior Operations Manager will be the primary representative for all L3Harris Operations at Trenton.
- As the person responsible for the Operations and operational requirements of our Department of National Defense (DND) customer, he/she will direct the work of the Supervisors, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AMEs), Aircraft Technicians, Operational Support Services personnel and the entire staff team supporting the maintenance of the A310 fleet.
- You will also be the main point of contact and responsible for all interactions with customer representatives on the Base.
Responsibilities:
- Support all maintenance activities to meet operational requirements and ensure the number of aircraft available/serviceable as required by the contract.
- Coordinate and ensure the availability of all parts, consumables, equipment and tools required to maintain the A330 aircraft in an operational state of readiness in Trenton and throughout the international operating location.
- Provide complete plans associated with the equipment and transportation required for military deployments worldwide.
- Supervise/lead teams of supervisors, staff and all assigned unionized personnel (AMEs, Technicians and Operations Support personnel) supporting the A330 fleet.
- Define / develop with his team the concepts of operations for the different maintenance lines to be implemented in operations.
- Define / Develop relevant Operational KPI’s.
- Represent operations at various meetings with the program team to establish options and provide operational solutions that will meet specific customer requirements.
- Identify and assess issues/constraints/risks that may cause delays to any current or future production activities.
- Establish and implement production release plans with his team.
- Establish and maintain professional and courteous relationships with the Programs group, the client (DND) and various L3Harris representatives.
- Make significant and substantive improvements to processes and systems to meet or exceed team goals.
- Plan and establish team objectives including impact and risk analyses directly related to the business results of the sector, using his/her knowledge and experience in project management, process management and personnel management.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
