Description du poste :

CUSTOMER

  • Lead a team of business architects in the development and enablement of the target state and associated roadmaps, ensuring they will be achieved through collaboration with Segment and Journey partners
  • Act as the business architect lead for assigned responsibilities to ensure that outcomes meet the target state vision and investment decisions align to business priorities
  • Interact, collaborate, and influence peers and business partners at all levels to ensure alignment to the target state, integrated roadmaps, adoption of methodology, tools and templates
  • Use forward thinking and identify impacts of an initiative on all user groups, by determining needs/ requirements/ priorities and defining options and achieving consensus on approaches, where possible
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance during frequent interactions with the working group and business leads, Act as an advocate for the area of responsibility e.g., capabilities, tools, templates, methodology
  • Manage issues or escalations

SHAREHOLDER

  • Ensure that the team adheres to enterprise frameworks or methodologies related to overall Business Architecture activities
  • Design the target state demonstrating how it will achieve strategic business outcomes within the broader organizational context
  • Build and maintain common language and methodology across TD for Business Architecture.
  • Keep abreast on emerging issues, trends and developments and assess potential impacts and/or opportunities
  • Clearly define success metrics around overall efficiency and effectiveness for areas of responsibilities
  • Accelerate Segment/Journey/Platform strategy development through value stream alignment, prioritization of features/investments and capability maturity and spend assessments
  • Proactively identify key business opportunities, research and recommend enhancements/ modifications, develop strategies to achieve recommendations and work closely with team to execute and implement
  • Plan and execute on strategic activities, review and communicate results, and adjust tactics accordingly
  • Manage overall budget, revenue and expenditures, and meet business objectives while increasing efficiency and effectiveness for the team
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
  • Protect the interests of the organization - identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high-risk initiatives/ activities as necessary

  • Foster a high-performance culture by setting team targets and objectives, promoting and facilitating on-going feedback/coaching and conducting Quarterly Check-Ins for all colleagues to drive accountability and business results. BREADTH & DEPTH:

  • Lead and manage team(s), and accountable for a specific LOB, business pillar or multiple segments, with moderate to high level of size/complexity, and a range of complex attributes
  • Oversee and lead a highly complex and diverse function for an area of significant complexity or scope while growing talent, developing skills and capabilities to achieve career goals, support project / initiative success and achieve business results
  • Provides coaching, mentorship and guidance to practitioners, business, executives within area of expertise
  • Manages and oversees the overall discipline and strategy for the respective areas while aligning to the enterprise best practices
  • Strategic partner to leadership team on the management of the portfolio and financials, with deep industry, external / internal, enterprise knowledge, recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and; identifying operational efficiencies and opportunities with other business management / enterprise areas
  • Facilitate key strategic discussions and provide thought leadership to executive audience (output may include strategic roadmap and/or deliverables/ frameworks/ short to long term goals, etc.)
  • Set team direction and collaborate with others to execute on common goals
  • Focus on longer-range planning for functional area (i.e., 12 months or greater)
  • Generally reports to a business architecture executive

EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION

  • Undergraduate degree or Business Architecture certificate and/or
  • 10+ years relevant experience
  • Previous Business Architecture experience required
  • Experience in leading teams strongly recommended
  • Be credible and have strong working knowledge in subject matter unique to the business or have direct access to these SMEs
  • A seasoned professional with undergraduate degree or Business Architecture certificate
  • Ability to provide leadership guidance on execution strategy and the development and deployment of projects and programs to solve unique and ambiguous problems with broad financial and operational impact
  • Ability to connect the dots across products, channels, and segments to identify areas of value
  • Ability to cut through complexity and ambiguity to communicate with and influence senior stakeholder group
  • Dexterous in influential and negotiation skills for making recommendations and engaging shareholders to act for meeting the business needs on a complex project
  • In-depth knowledge of using MS Office, analytical tools and techniques and project and risk management methodologies
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment is an asset
  • Previous management consulting experience is an asset
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
