You’ll focus on engaging and hiring the most promising college students from campus and university. You’ll build on campus relationships with job seekers and candidates, while understanding the dynamic hiring needs of each business.


Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As Campus Talent Acquisition (CTA) Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service, operational efficiency and bring our strategy to life through delivery. Reporting to the National Talent Acquisition Leader, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the day to day operations and activities of the Campus Talent Acquisition team including details of our major recruitment campaigns.
  • Oversight of and regular communications with the CTA Managers in the different Canadian markets, ensuring excellent servicing and consistency of all markets and execution in accordance with campus strategy.
  • Develop, train and coach a campus talent acquisition team of 12+ professionals on our strategy, attraction approach and programs.
  • Maintain a diversity lens on all applicants, ensuring target groups are appropriately represented and supported in all programs to ensure PwC engages and recruits students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Oversee the design and deployment of campus attraction programs (such as our Advance Summer Program and student ambassador program) and student engagement opportunities, including business simulations and skills development sessions.
  • Ensure the engagement of our people, University Recruitment Champion Partners and university teams in the campus recruitment process through strong relationships with Partners and teams across Canada and being responsive to their feedback and suggestions.
  • Attend select campus recruitment events and presentations at universities across Canada.
  • Post social media content and work with the various tools associated with social media management to ensure collateral for our teams.
  • Coach the campus talent acquisition team and client groups on the merits of our process and building their technical recruitment knowledge on selection methodologies. Ensure national readiness for our various campus recruitment cycles through collaboration with the national talent acquisition leader and working closely with the campus talent acquisition managers and team.
  • Ensure management reporting is in place including pipeline information from applications, to conversions and acceptance and fill rates as well as presenting this data to HC and LoS Leadership teams.
  • Communicate with senior stakeholders including Managing Partners, Site Leaders, Recruitment Champion Partners, Local People Partners, the Human Capital, Learning & Development and Resource Management leadership teams.
  • Actively manage issues and situations ensuring a focus on client service and respect to firm guidelines and processes.
  • Report out on the Campus Talent Team’s activities including pipeline data, survey data and student feedback.
  • Together with the National TA Leader, communicate and build relationships with global colleagues within the PwC network of firms, to gain access to ideas and solutions and raise the profile of PwC Canada to global colleagues.
  • Network within the marketplace to understand the competitive landscape and compensation.
  • Liaise with the Talent Acquisition Strategy & Operations, our offshore Recruitment Services Centre, Resource Management and Human Capital to ensure an effective candidate onboarding experience.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition – Senior Manager Optimization to embed operational excellence initiatives into the daily work, adopting a continuous improvement mindset.


Experienced and Skills You'll Use To Solve

Progressive experience within Campus Talent Acquisition including:
  • Demonstrated ability to manage critical relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic campus recruiting plans to support the business strategy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and aptitude in Talent and Diversity Branding.
  • Demonstrated knowledge on selection methodologies including psychometric assessments, interview guidelines and an understanding of predictive validity in selection approaches.
  • Demonstrated experience of coaching and developing remote teams.
  • Strong data analytics, problem solving and presentation skills, able to gather, analyze, and report performance and budget data.
  • Considerable experience managing relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • A highly motivated, creative, passionate, resilient and proactive approach.
  • Fluent English is a requirement, fluency in French is a bonus.
  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard.
  • Travel requirements 10% to various cities in Canada for several days at a time.
