Work hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break), Monday to Friday
*Alternatively, you can take a 30-minute lunch break and finish at 5:00 PM
*This position offers a hybrid work model; however, you will be required to work in the office daily for at least 2 weeks (or longer) until you are able to work independently. Once the hybrid schedule begins, you will need to work in the office at least 2 days per week (Wednesday plus one additional day).
Compensation: $80K-100K (DOE) per year + a bonus based on company performance

Annual Vacation: Starting 15 days per year (Prorated based on starting date)
Main Job Duties:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5-7 accounting staff.
- Perform and oversee the consolidation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct and supervise complex accounting analyses to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement efficient accounting processes.
- Resolve accounting challenges independently with a focus on delivering timely and effective solutions.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and implement solutions.
- Other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Expertise in consolidation processes and complex accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficient in accounting software and tools, with advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Motivated, self-driven, and eager to take on challenges.
- Japanese/Chinese language skills an asset.
