Senior Linux DevOps Engineer

I`m hiring a Senior Linux DevOps Engineer on behalf of a leading global provider of cybersecurity solutions, specializing in hardware security modules (HSMs) and related services.

With a focus on safeguarding sensitive data and cryptographic keys, their innovative products cater to diverse industries, including finance, healthcare, and government.

The company is committed to delivering robust, scalable, and customizable security solutions to protect digital assets and ensure the integrity of critical information in an increasingly interconnected world.

In this role you will be responsible for:

1. Managing and maintaining enterprise Linux environments to ensure optimal performance
2. Implementing and managing solutions to ensure system health
3. Contributing to the integration of Identity Management solutions within the Linux infrastructure
4. Linux hardening - including the implementation of security hardening guidelines using tools such as SELinux
5. Implementing logging solutions and analysis of system logs
6. Automation utilising Infrastructure as Code practices

This role is remote from anywhere in Germany.

Essential:

1. Several years of professional experience as a Linux DevOps Engineer
2. Experience configuring SELinux
3. Experience with Linux hardening and security concepts
4. Experience working with IDM Systems
5. Proficiency with monitoring and logging technologies
6. Strong knowledge of containerization, automation and script creation (Kubernetes, docker, ansible)
7. Proactive and solution-oriented thinking
8. Fluent written and spoken English

Desirable:

1. Fluent German speaking - if not you will be expected to take German language lessons
