Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, M&A and Intellectual Property, the Senior Legal Counsel, Intellectual Property (“IP”) position provides legal advice and support for IP matters across all Nutrien business units. This position works closely with leaders and other stakeholders. It will provide strategic direction to Nutrien’s global IP program and enforcement stewardship as well as day-to-day support in developing, advising, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating all IP matters. This position requires a collaborative approach with stakeholders to identify and manage risk in alignment with Nutrien’s business strategies.

Salary Range $177,600- $329,700 annually. This range is estimated for Sr. Legal Counsel, Intellectual Property role located in Loveland, CO.
Salary Range $169,100 - $314,000 annually. This range is estimated for Sr. Legal Counsel, Intellectual Property role located in Chicago, IL. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary payout of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
