Senior IT Talent Recruitment Partner (12-Month Contract)

Are you a seasoned HR leader who’s skilled in IT recruitment sourcing and attraction strategy and experienced in meeting diversity, equity, inclusion and reconciliation objectives?

️ $81,200 - $122,000
Full-time, hybrid (Must work at least one day a week from the Vancouver, BC office)

In this job, you will...

  • Lead and coach the talent acquisition team, managing performance and guiding them to deliver high-performing service.
  • Partner with senior leaders and internal teams to proactively understand their talent needs and business objectives.
  • Develop and incorporate an effective recruitment plan to fulfill hiring needs.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and expectations.
  • Work closely with business partners and consultants to provide high-level client services and partnership.
  • Mentor junior recruiters on best practices and advanced recruitment strategies.
  • Proactively build a pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Produce and promote positions on the company’s website, social media and relevant job boards.
  • Perform prescreens, interviews and evaluate the candidates’ skills, knowledge and experience to recommend the right candidates for consideration.
  • Create exceptional internal and external candidate experience and support candidates through the recruitment process.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple recruitment projects, providing timely updates to clients and candidates as necessary.
  • Anticipate problems and concerns, providing well-thought-out solutions and recommendations.
  • Coach and advise managers throughout the recruitment process, managing sourcing options, interviews and offer negotiations, and more.
  • Resolve problems and provide direction to managers on recruitment-related matters concerning internal and external candidates.
  • Recommend ways to optimize and maintain integrated tools, systems, policies and procedures to keep talent acquisition effective and efficient.

You have...

  • 7+ years of recent work experience in talent acquisition, whether in-house, at an agency or a combination of both.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or human resources.
  • A proven ability to create business relationships and partnerships to support and coach leaders about hiring best practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in candidate management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, project management and communication skills.
  • Effective business acumen and decision-making skills.
  • Previous experience in leading recruitment projects for senior-level roles.
  • An extensive understanding of HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems.
  • A high-level of familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, building projects and candidate pipelines.
  • Positive self-awareness and an openness to learn.
  • Experience coaching managers about inclusive hiring practices.
