The Project Manager will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and supporting the execution of the Project, as well as fulfilling the required deliverables.
This project is significantly underway, and the Project Manager will be expected to get up to speed quickly to ensure project continuity and success as much as possible.
Management of project plan.
Status reporting.
Executive presentations.
Management of issues, risks, decisions, changes.
Coordination of teams and working groups across business areas and the Information Services Division (ISD).
Support on change management and communications.
Knowledge transfer.
Service Requirements
High-level activities.
Lead project management activities.
Work with the project leads and business area to clearly define and understand the project’s scope, resource plan, schedule and approach.
Develop and/or maintain the project risk log and document risk mitigation strategies.
Develop project and technical materials as required.
Facilitate and manage all information sessions with stakeholders.
Work with stakeholders, vendors and internal ISD technical staff to develop deliverables.
Provide coordination for all ministry staff involved in project.
Assist with ensuring all business requirements are reflected in the documentation.
Manage the team of resources across functional areas and in conjunction with Ministry business areas;
Conduct lessons learned sessions at key project milestones.
Provide weekly check-in status reports and contribute to the monthly project status report.
Provide CTO with copies of all materials, reports, and tools utilized during the contract term prior to contract close-out.

Qualifications
The IT Project Manager is required to have the following skills and experience:
Minimum 10 years experience (within the last 15 years) providing project management services, managing project resources, project risks, project schedule and project scope.
Experience developing project work plans and charters.
Experience providing direct training and mentoring to staff as well as conducting knowledge transfer to staff.
