This position will be based in our Burlington, ON facility.
Job Description
The Senior IT Applications Analyst is responsible for providing advanced troubleshooting skills in support of IT systems. They will have demonstrated subject matter expert (SME) level skills in the maintenance of Information Technology architecture, processes, and procedures and will assist in identifying areas of improvement and process control.
Key Accountabilities
- Supports and administers Oracle JD Edwards, Insight/Hubble, Project Center, Microsoft CRM Dynamics, ReportsNow (DAS), Finance integrations for AP (Medius), AR (VersaPay), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), etc.
- Works with internal and external customers to troubleshoot issues on supported applications.
- Experienced with systems integrations using REST APIs, BSSVs, SFTP.
- Liaise with different business units to gather new requirements and create functional/technical process documents.
- Maintains, tracks & keeps project status up to date on internal tracking systems like Azure, ServiceNow.
- Supports in gathering data for IT KPIs and SLAs.
- Participate in change management meetings and adhere to change process for production changes.
- Creates and maintains thorough and complete technical documentation of the system configurations.
- Participate in system upgrades, as well as coordinate system maintenance for the supported applications.
- Maintains system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, and system load/stress testing.
- Ensures system access, auditing, and security controls are in place and compliant with security policy.
- Contributes to the overall functioning of the team by maintaining awareness of best practices/emerging issues, both internally and externally, sharing best practices and building effective working relationships across the team and company.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience (Computer science or Engineering).
- 5 to 7+ years of related experience.
- Hands-on experience on various JD Edwards modules including but not limited to Manufacturing, Sales & Distribution, Finance, and Master Data.
- Knowledge on JD Edwards tables & relationship between the tables.
- Knowledge of Intermediate SQL query.
- Knowledge on Integration techniques in/out from JD Edwards.
- Knowledge on JD Edwards Security is a plus.
- Knowledge on JD Edwards Package build and deployment is a plus.
- Able to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technical and non-technical staff members.
- Excellent teamwork and team building skills.
- Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
