Senior IAM Systems Engineer- EntraID and PingFederate SME (Global Security)

As the Senior IAM Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for leading, implementing, and supporting Authentication Services within RBC. The ideal candidate is passionate about authentication and security, has experience building large-scale enterprise software, and has direct experience in authentication, identity, PAM, security, and in building complex rule-based systems for authorization.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Participates in the full lifecycle of development and implementation within Authentication services and associated IAM policies and processes from initial internal hand-off from Business Analysts and Project teams to installation, system configuration, development, and testing.
• Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on EntraID and PingFederate solutions, architecture, tools, and products.
• Provide guidance during the implementation from a technical perspective on issues such as performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Participates in architecture and design discussions around solutions and enhancements.
• Identifies opportunities for efficiencies by leveraging automation and other techniques.
• Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

• 4-7 years of IAM experience with strong knowledge in development (installation, configuration, and coding) of EntraID and PingFederate Solution.
• Experience in cloud security, identity and/or authentication protocols is highly desired.
• Experience with authentication and federation concepts and technologies – SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Multi-Factor Authentication.
• Experience with some of MS Active Directory, EntraID, SAML, OAuth, WS-Federation, WS-Trust, XML, SOAP, Kerberos, Linux, TLS, SSO, GPO.
• Knowledge of network security, authentication, and authorization.
• Extensive expertise deploying software as well as strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills on Windows and UNIX/Linux platforms.

• Experience in developing and tuning highly scalable systems.
