HR Systems and Operations Engineering Team
Within Human Resources, the HR Systems and Operations Engineering Team strives to create and deliver a seamless and positive experience for stakeholders interfacing with HR technology and processes at scale. Leading with care and empathy, the team develops and implements efficient and simple people processes and systems to enhance the experience of all employees. The team of HR Operations Engineering leverages existing patterns of automation and technical architecture already in use within the company. This way of working allows our team to maximize value in upleveling people processes ensuring our customers and team members have the most effective and efficient experiences.
Position Overview
The Senior Business Process Specialist for the HR Operations Engineering team will act as a lead, partnering closely with the Manager to drive the creation and ownership of all HR operational processes related to immigration, compliance, people operations and technical project management programs. This role involves developing and implementing efficient business workflows and automation solutions designed for Human Resources. The Senior Business Process Specialist will ensure the successful delivery of team projects and initiatives by leveraging their expertise in process improvement and HR systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Process Leadership: Lead the design, development, and optimization of HR operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with the HR Operations Engineering Manager and other key stakeholders to understand and address business needs.
- Project Management: Oversee and manage multiple projects, with a special focus on system implementations and other projects with cross-functional, organization-wide implications, including M&A support, ensuring timely and successful delivery of initiatives.
- Data Analysis: Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- System Implementation and Advocacy: Partner closely with the HR Systems team, advocating for their needs and involving them in all project stages. Support system implementations and optimize business processes with Workday components, ensuring the HR Systems team's interests are represented and protected in cross-functional business interactions.
- Program Support: Ensure all projects and processes consider both immigration and compliance. Assist in maturing immigration and HR compliance programs through standardization, automation, optimization, and collaboration with external stakeholders, such as immigration counsel and local authorities, while adhering to GDPR and regional regulations.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to process improvements and system implementations.
- HR Process Optimization & Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead the design, development, and optimization of HR operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness while collaborating closely with the HR Operations Engineering Manager and key stakeholders to address business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a people operations or process analyst role.
- Proficient in conducting comprehensive end-to-end process reviews, identifying areas for optimization in both technical and human components, and eliminating manual or redundant tasks.
- General knowledge of developing automated processes across various systems and tools.
- Experience working in a global company with adherence to GDPR and data privacy regulations.
- Strong understanding of HR compliance disciplines, including immigration, security, and regional/local regulatory policies.
- Eagerness to up-skill in technical areas such as AI, automation, robotics, etc.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Highly collaborative with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated use of data to solve business problems.
- Ability to work autonomously and make decisions with minimal guidance and oversight.
- Flexibility to accommodate varying time zone requirements for projects and support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in business process reengineering and optimization.
- Previous project administrator or user experience in Jira software and service.
- Previous HRIS experience (e.g., Workday).
- Previous experience in a global company adhering to GDPR and data privacy regulations.
- Experience with advanced automation tools (e.g., Power Automate).
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies with certifications (PSM I, PSM II).
- Understanding of HR strategy and its alignment with business objectives.
- Experience working across various HR functions (e.g., talent acquisition, compensation, benefits).
Compensation
Compensation Relativity is committed to competitive, fair and equitable compensation practices. This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, annual performance bonus target of 10%, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is between 141,000 and 211,000 PLN gross/year (Employment Contract). The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
