Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Senior HR Generalist to support our HR operations and ensure smooth day-to-day processes. Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this role will be responsible for managing employee records, benefits administration, compliance, and other key HR functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with HR systems to maintain accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage HRIS data, ensuring accuracy in employee records
- Provide guidance and support for employee questions related to policies, benefits, and HR procedures
- Process HR documentation, including employment contracts, policy acknowledgments, and compliance-related paperwork
- Coordinate payroll processing with the finance team to ensure accuracy
- Support HR reporting, audits, and record-keeping to ensure compliance
- Provide administrative support for onboarding and offboarding, including background checks, system setup, and exit documentation
- Assist with HR administration for offshore and international employees in coordination with local service providers
- Support HR activities related to mergers and acquisitions, including employee transitions and integration planning
- Support the creation of HR process documentation to improve efficiency and ensure consistency
- Manage and track required employee training programs to ensure timely completion
- Provide occasional support to the Talent Acquisition Partner with interview scheduling and onboarding coordination
- Assist with other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity
- Experience using Rippling or similar HRIS systems to manage employee data
- Familiarity with payroll processes, benefits administration, and employee change processes (e.g., promotions, transfers, salary adjustments)
- Experience supporting HR aspects of acquisitions is a plus
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Knowledge of Canada & US employment law is a plus
