Reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Communications, the Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for print and digital design. This role requires a skilled and detail-oriented designer with experience in both traditional graphic design and digital media. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of branding principles, editorial design, and typography, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Major Responsibilities

  • Design and produce engaging print and digital marketing materials, including collateral, advertising, web, and social media graphics.
  • Create engaging digital content including animation and videos to support our online presence and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Develop high-impact PowerPoint presentations for client pitches, seminars, and internal communications.
  • Act as Osler’s brand custodian to ensure all branded products are compliant with our brand standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to understand visual communication needs and deliver creative solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and brand standards.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in design and technology, integrating innovative approaches to your work and the team's overall workflow.
  • Lead the design of all net-new page and component designs in WordPress.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working as an in-house designer (B2B or professional services or agency environments preferred).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Creative thinker with a detail-oriented approach to design and typography.
  • Proven experience in graphic design, video editing, and presentation design.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage projects independently.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, etc.).
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite and experience designing/working with templates in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in WordPress or other CMS environments.
  • Video editing skills will be considered an asset.
  • Online portfolio showcasing strong typography and creativity across various media.

We are currently working in a hybrid work arrangement, which includes a requirement to work primarily in the office and flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
