Job Description:The TECE Governance and Controls (G&C) group is a 1B function that is accountable for enabling TECE businesses to identify, understand, manage, and mitigate the risks they face in their activities and operations in alignment with Bank strategy and risk appetite.

Job DescriptionTECE G&C is hiring a Senior Governance & Control Analyst who is an experienced professional that will provide fulsome 1B support to Enterprise Real Estate and certain other TECE businesses. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert and develop and maintain a robust understanding of governance and control requirements. The ability to collaboratively work with multiple stakeholders and form positive working relationships is key to this role.
Key Areas of Responsibility:- Provide governance and control advice and support to Enterprise Real Estate, CAPA, and other selected TECE LOBs.
- Lead the completion of risk assessments, documentation of regulatory and operational controls, monitoring and reporting of key risk indicators, and drafting of risk reporting for executive audiences.
- Enable a strong governance and internal control environment and perform effective challenge by executing on enterprise control and governance frameworks (e.g., pRCSA standards, regulatory compliance policies and standards).
- Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen and improve processes and controls and support the business to operate within risk appetite.
- Support the proactive identification and documentation of gaps/issues by the business, and monitor the business's progress to ensure timely resolution of identified gaps/issues.
- Productively engage and build relationships with the business and second and third line of defence stakeholders (e.g. Risk, Compliance, AML, Audit).
- Develop an understanding of existing and emerging regulatory requirements, operational processes, inherent risks, and enterprise policies & practices to provide valued advice and support to the business.
- Aware of industry best practices and emerging trends within the risk space.
Job Requirements:- Undergraduate degree.
- 5+ years of relevant experience (with 1B, ORM, Compliance or Audit experience preferred).
- Industry and business knowledge and understanding of risk and control functions.
- Knowledge of relevant enterprise requirements (e.g., ORM standards and guidelines, Regulatory Compliance Management standards).
- Experience completing risk assessments, documenting controls, conducting testing, and monitoring and reporting on risk and compliance results.
- Demonstrated collaboration, interpersonal, and relationship management skills, with an ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, drive progress, and exercise sound judgement.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to escalate challenges and propose recommendations in a clear and comprehensive manner.
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills and an ability to adapt, prioritize, and manage competing tasks/deliverables.
- Ability to think critically.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to recognize and react to discrepancies.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to adapt to new/evolving requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficient with MERLIN and other enterprise tools.
