Senior Full-Stack Developer (Ruby on Rails/React)

What we're looking for

We are looking for a senior full stack developer! Phoenix is a Y Combinator backed startup based in downtown Toronto. You’ll work closely with the cofounders to continue to build out the patient and physician side of our platform. We are looking for a passionate, mission-driven engineer who takes pride in the products they build. You're the type of developer who loves the whiteboard and figuring out streamlined solutions to complicated workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional programming experience

• 5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails (or a similar MVC framework)

• Comfortable in at least one modern JavaScript front-end framework (ideally React)

• Experience creating robust, reliable, and user-friendly software features for both internal teams and our customers

• Experience thoroughly testing and deploying your own code

• Participate in the design, architecture, and delivery of new features in a collaborative environment

• Experience with Cloud Platforms is a nice to have (ideally AWS)

• Passionate about improving the Canadian healthcare experience and have a personal connection to the space
