SENIOR FPGA DESIGN ENGINEER POSITION IN SOUTHAMPTON, HAMPSHIRE

A Senior FPGA Design Engineer job has become available for a technology business based in Southampton that focuses on digital signal processing systems. They are growing their team and this addition will be joining a skilled development department. This person will be working on FPGA design with a particular focus on signal processing.

You will be involved at all levels on a wide variety of projects with our customers in areas such as mobile communications, satellite networks, government organisations, and radio network operators. You will have a real opportunity to use all of your skills in different types of projects and teams.

On some projects, you will be working on high-level system evaluations; on others, you will be working on detailed system design and verification.

Key skills for the Senior FPGA Design Engineer job:

1. A 1st or high 2:1 in a related Engineering degree (ideally from a Red Brick University)
2. Proven FPGA design experience using VHDL and Verilog
3. Experience of developing firmware to meet well-defined specifications
4. An interest in mobile communications
