The FP&A Team is a key partner of all the Business areas (Product, Operations and R&D) involved in a diverse range of financial modeling and analysis to promote data driven decisions.
Job Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A is the finance business partner to the Modules and Routers team. You will analyze our financial data, implement and recommend new processes, assist in resources optimization and help us on operational and strategic business decisions. You will be responsible for performing a variety of financial activities involved in the FP&A package and ad hoc analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, financial models, performance indicators (KPIs), market research, variance analysis, and assisting with monthly close processes.
Responsibilities:
Direct responsible for Opex and Capex controls with R&D, Product and Operation (35%)
Act as the finance business partner to Modules and Routers [Product, Operations and R&D]: provide financial analysis for monthly business reviews, forecast updates, and ad hoc analysis (25%)
Provide decision support, measure product portfolio performance and analyze key business performance (10%)
Develop a clear understanding of the different data sources and drivers and be able to communicate and educate the wider business on their true meaning (5%)
Implement new & informative reporting which will create an understanding of key business drivers and translate data to provide a meaningful story to business stakeholders (5%)
Develop financial projections and build financial models (5%)
Assist with budgeting and monthly close processes (10%)
Conduct cost analyses, benchmarking, and risk assessments (5%)
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or similar.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
Proven track record of performing analysis in a fast-paced business environment
Advanced problem-solving skills
Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
Ability to work in a team environment and/or as an individual contributor
Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong financial modeling skills
Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes in a multi disciplined team environment
High proficiency with Excel, working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
Good business curiosity, the ability to identify strategic issues and think critically
Fluent in English
Strong attention to detail
Independent and can work with minimal supervision, be able to develop key concepts and execute

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is CAD $90,000 - $110,000.There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
