Senior Financial Analyst, Contract

About the Client

Our client is looking to source a Senior Financial Analyst for a 6-Month Contract.

About the Opportunity

1. Preparing ASPE financial statements independently, ensuring accuracy and completeness for audit and internal reporting.
2. Leading key aspects of the audit process, reconciliations, and supporting documentation management.
3. Owning the full cycle process, month-end close procedures, collaborating with the Senior Accountant to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
4. Conducting financial analysis and leveraging available resources to provide insights that support decision-making.
5. Preparing reconciliations, reviewing documentation, and handling ad hoc financial tasks with minimal supervision.
6. Experience with completing GST returns.
7. Supporting Director of Finance and Senior Accountant on ad hoc duties.

About You

1. 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience in FS Prep, full cycle accounting, month end close.
2. Experience in working with small to mid-size private companies.
3. CPA is an asset but not required.
4. Public audit experience (ASPE) is an asset but not required.
5. Experience with NetSuite or large ERP systems is an asset.
