Position Overview: This Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for developing financial models to support decision making related to business issues including profitability of new opportunities, revenue models and profit margin analysis. Emphasis on analyzing current performance through the creation and monitoring of product metrics and conducting perspective and ongoing economic analysis of product pricing, business initiatives and services. In addition, this individual will analyze and report on the financial impact of current and proposed programs as well as building analytical tools to gain efficiencies in financial modelling as required.

- The expected salary range is between $85,000 and $100,000 annually. This range reflects our commitment to providing competitive compensation that aligns with industry standards and your qualifications.

Job Description:Job Responsibilities:
- Develops financial models to support decision making on profitability, investments, revenue and cost analysis
- Analyzes financial performance, identifies trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Assists in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepares financial reports and summaries for management. Measure financial results against budget and forecast
- Works closely with other departments within the company to ensure that strategic initiatives are achieved
- Conducts complex financial analysis and scenario modeling. Include research and identifying, designing, and implementing applications and tools to fulfill reporting and analysis
- Supports management with expenditure insights and ad hoc financial forecast
Specific Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the link between analysis and business impact
- Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting aggressive deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Inquisitive and self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting with an associated professional designation (CFA, CPA, CGA, CMA, CA) or an MBA
- At least 4+ years of experience in an analytical role in finance, or business management
- Strong experience with financial analysis, financial modeling, and/or profitability analysis
