What You’ll be Doing
- Performing Monthly, semi-annual, and annual Generator services and load bank testing as per the CSA 282 requirements and performing small repairs as needed.
- Work independently and alongside other team members to attend planned and emergency services.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems with onsite generators.
- Work on a variety of power generation, drive and electrical systems such as gen-sets of all makes, variable frequency drives, automatic transfer switches, e-houses, cogens.
- All service work is communicated via online reports to be completed daily and relayed to managers.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid driver’s license, maintain a clean driving record and be willing to provide driver’s abstract.
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills (English).
- Computer proficiency with a strong knowledge of MS Office and social media tools (texting, Teams, Outlook, etc.).
- Occasional, project-based travel expected with mutual consideration toward work/home life balance.
- Eventual inclusion into after-hours ON CALL rotation; usually every 4-6 weeks.
- Ability to follow maintenance program as instructed without deviation.
- Any working trade licenses are considered an asset.

- Note: Police, RCMP Fingerprint or OPP check may be required based on individual customer requirements but if you are qualified in most other respects, we will find room for you.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ensuring all Health and Safety's policies and procedures are followed and participate in regular H&S training as required.
- Previous experience in Power Generation is an asset.
