Job Summary and Requirements:
This is for two (2) full-time term positions, working 75 hours bi-weekly to March 31, 2027 and February 13, 2026.

The Energy Branch delivers energy programs and implements projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help Yukoners save energy. We lead the development of energy policies that enhance the environmental, economic and social sustainability of the territory. Our clients consist of Yukon citizens, First Nations, municipalities, businesses and other government departments.
The Senior Energy Advisor is part of a team that develops, implements and evaluates energy programs and initiatives designed to achieve the Yukon’s climate change and energy targets. This includes rebates, funding and upfront financing for energy efficiency retrofits and renewable energy system installations. This role provides technical support and advice to clients, reviews and reports on program successes and challenges, prepares and executes funding agreements, identifies and implements new ways to scale up retrofits and renewable energy system installations, and manages contracts with external consultants.
