Senior Director, Internal Audit, Global Cybersecurity & IT Risk Management
As a Senior Director, Internal Audit, Global Cybersecurity & IT Risk Management, you will evaluate organizational business risks, develop and communicate audit plan, manage and execute audits, and recommend improvements to internal controls and operating processes. You will also manage a team of directors, senior managers, and managers.

What will you do?
- Responsible for providing independent assurance for the internal control environment relative to Global Cybersecurity and IT Risk Management.
- Responsible for strategic leadership, planning and strategy for the Global Cybersecurity and IT Risk Management audit group that includes Canada, US, Europe and APAC.
- Lead and support regulatory engagements for the Global Cybersecurity and IT Risk Management audit team, including responses, materials, and interviews/discussions.
- Collaborate with business unit leadership to develop and implement audit and control policies, procedures, and best practices which support the growth strategies for those units.
- Provide insights to Technology and Operations, and act as a trusted advisor to the function.
- Develop capability of team use of analytic tools to widen scope of assurance.
- Advise senior management on risk and control issues and provide practical recommendations to ensure risks are appropriately managed.
- Maintain relationships with external auditors, business units and senior management to ensure communication of critical issues in a timely manner.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- CISA, CISSP, or other recognized industry certification relevant to the job.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in IT/Cyber risk management and/or internal audit roles.
- Experience working in/with large and complex banks (similar size / complexity as RBC).
- Experience working in heavy regulatory environments, including direct communication and engagement with key examiners such as FRB/OCC/OSFI and managing regulatory examinations.
- Experience working with large teams (i.e. cross regional, and cross Platform).
Nice-to-have
- Experience building out data analytics for IT and Cyber.
