The Senior Director, Global Supply Chain Management is responsible for leading the SCIEX Global Supply Chain Management function strategically and operationally so that the current and future business requirements and key performance indicators are met. This position is part of the SCIEX Global Operations team and will be located in Marsiling Industrial Estate, Singapore.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and lead global strategies and continuously improve our global processes for Planning, Sourcing, Materials Management and Logistics.
- Lead and develop our teams globally that run aforementioned processes, ensuring within Danaher best-in-class service and performance is provided to our customers and that we are the Employer of Choice to our team members.
- Lead and continuously develop SCIEX Sales and Operations Planning processes globally and collaborate with all impacting and impacted stakeholders.
- Own and lead the delivery on key performance indicators like On-Time Delivery, Inventory Turns, Cost efficiencies in Materials, Cycle Time and Quality.
- Collaborate and build strong relationships with key work partners internally and externally like Suppliers, Sales, Service, Product Management, Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering.
- Represent SCIEX Global Supply Chain networking with Danaher Business Systems office, Danaher Procurement and Supply Chain and with peers in the other Operating Companies within Danaher.
- Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and SCIEX safety policies, procedures and guidelines.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Degree in relevant discipline (eg Engineering, Logistics), preferably with a Master’s Degree in Business.
- At least 15 years of solid manufacturing operations managerial experience.
- Excellent Global Supply Chain management experience (planning, purchasing, transportation, warehouse logistics).
- In-depth knowledge of continuous improvement tools (Standard Work, TPI, Kaizen, Problem Solving etc.).
Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel - at least 15% of the time domestically to supplier locations and/or overseas to the US, Canada, APAC or EMEA regions.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Working in a global matrix organization with direct & indirect reporting relationships.
- Excellent skills & knowledge in managing global teams (direct & indirect reports).
- Proven success in global cross-functional collaboration.
