Are you ready to lead innovation in Application Managed Services? Fujitsu North America is seeking a Senior Director of Application Managed Services (AMS) to drive our clients’ modernization, transformation, and growth. In this high-impact role, you will shape and execute technology strategies that enhance and extend our modern AMS capabilities, ensuring our clients receive state-of-the-art application management solutions that enhance business value.

You will engage with clients and C-level executives, present tailored solutions, and develop comprehensive sales proposals that balance cost, efficiency, technology, innovation, risk mitigation, and client value. You will oversee AMS client development, revenue growth, and continuous improvement of AMS services while positioning Fujitsu as an industry leader. This role requires deep expertise in large-scale IT service operations, a proactive mindset, and a passion for driving digital transformation through AMS.

You will be a champion of modern AMS principles, driving proactive, business-aligned, agile, cloud-first, automated, secure, data-driven, and industry leading innovations and solutions for our Fujitsu clients.

Requirements

Technical & Business Expertise:

  1. Deep understanding of Modern AMS Core Characteristics, including proactive & preventative management, DevOps integration, automation & AI, cloud-native solutions, security-embedded strategies, and business outcome-driven approaches
  2. Extensive experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and IT automation
  3. Expertise in AMS pricing models, including outcome-based pricing and service cost optimization
  4. Strong foundation in application performance analytics, security compliance (GDPR, HIPAA), and IT governance

Client Engagement & Leadership:

  1. Proven ability to engage executive-level clients, build trust, and present solutions tailored to business needs
  2. Experience in leading AMS innovation initiatives, developing new services, and promoting AMS transformation and portfolio modernization
  3. Ability to command cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and drive strategic initiatives
  4. Experience leading solution alignment workshops with clients to ensure stakeholder buy-in and clarity.
  5. Strong problem-solving, risk mitigation, and negotiation skills

Strategic & Sales Capabilities:

  1. Experience in developing proposals, responding to RFPs, and crafting business cases for IT services
  2. Ability to balance technology, tooling, pricing, and legal considerations in AMS offerings
  3. A strong track record in revenue growth, service expansion, and customer satisfaction

AMS Technology and Offering Development:

  1. Experience continuously researching and assessing emerging trends, tools, and technologies across ERPs and non-ERP platforms, including AI Ops, RPA, DevOps, Low-Code/No-Code, and monitoring tools
  2. Proven design of modern strategies, methodologies, and best practices for application support and modernization
  3. Ability to coordinate and lead across technology groups (Enterprise Apps, ERP/COTS, Cloud, Integration, Infra) to build integrated solution strategies
  4. Proficient in defining and managing SLAs, SLOs, KPIs, and metrics for application managed services
  5. Experience designing and developing sales collateral including capability decks, case studies, and proposal content.

Qualifications

  1. 10+ years of experience in IT services with at least 5 years in leadership roles (AMS, technology solution delivery, and/or IT service management)
  2. Demonstrated success in managing large-scale IT engagements and driving revenue growth
  3. Experience in cloud-native AMS, automation, AI-driven solutions, and DevOps integration
  4. Strong thought leadership and industry recognition
  5. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field
  6. Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills
