responsibilities

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Senior Digital Designer who can bring big ideas to life. You’ll be responsible for creating world-class visual concepts and designs for web, mobile, email, and paid media that effectively market our products, inspire our guests, and elevate the brand.

As a member of our in-house creative team, you’ll report to, and work closely with, one of our art directors and be expected to manage multiple projects at one time. The ideal candidate has specialized experience working on top-of-funnel product stories for fashion apparel and/or feature-rich consumer products. A strong understanding of graphic design, UI design, typography, and design systems is a must.

what you'll do

  • Assist the Art Director/Creative Director in establishing visual tone, character, and messaging to effectively communicate with the target audience and fulfill the project objectives.
  • Create polished and pixel-perfect mock-ups, assets, and/or prototypes as required to fulfill the creative and business needs of each assignment.
  • Create and/or oversee the production of video and GIF animations for web, email, and paid social.
  • Ensure compatibility of design and functionality for optimum marketing and communication value.
  • Work daily with the Art Director and/or Project Manager to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met within established project timelines.
  • Prepare internal presentations to pitch concepts and designs, solicit feedback, build stakeholder consensus, and secure Creative Director approval.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of industry trends, creative leaders, and the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with peers to share learnings and experience.
  • Help refine processes and workflow towards enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Contribute to overall team morale, spirit, character and work quality.
  • Manage your time effectively and track it daily using Harvest.

what we're looking for

  • 7+ years of professional Visual Design and Communications experience
  • Must be well versed in creating for and delivering into interactive digital platforms
  • Expertise with standard digital design tools, including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience working directly with developers to implement designs
  • Strong knowledge of current digital design best practices and web production techniques
  • Experience with user-centered design, rapid prototyping, and user testing
  • A strong understanding of visual design principles
  • A conceptual thinker and problem-solver that can translate ideas into innovative and crafted design
  • A clear communicator with exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Compensation and Benefits Package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,500 - $102,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
