Senior Developer

Duration: 7 months| Strong Possibility of Extension or conversion to FTE

Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Senior Developer to be responsible for providing client-facing and internal web applications to meet business needs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in Role:

You will work closely with XSOAR developers and Business Systems Analysts to analyze business, technical, and system needs to enhance and introduce features to a continuously growing application and build new applications as we expand our portfolio.

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with front-end development
• Proficiency with RxJS, Karma, Jasmine, Jest
• Ability to convert UI documents into clean and efficient Angular components
• Proficiency with Reactive Forms
• Working knowledge of the latest web technologies and APIs
• Knowledge of deploying an Angular application to a web server
• Previous experience working in an Agile development team
• Experience in maintaining a project codebase and managing vulnerabilities

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Experience with NodeJS
• Experience with other frontend frameworks (React, Vue, AngularJS)
• Experience working on cloud-native solutions would be an asset
• Any one of the following will be an asset: AWS, GitHub, OpenShift, Agile, Confluence, JIRA
• Exposure to GenAI tools and best practices
