As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in the process to help unlocking the value of data.
In this role, primary responsibilities include:
- Lead and execute end to end data science projects, including problem formulation, data exploration, model development, validation, deployment and ongoing optimization for mission critical applications;
- Collaborate closely with the Data Analysts team, Data Engineering team and DataOps team to automate and integrate data science solutions seamlessly into production pipelines;
- Work collaboratively, in a consultative way, across the business units, advising on best approaches to leveraging data science in the most effective and efficient manner, including utilizing Generative AI technologies where applicable to develop cutting-edge solutions.
We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:
- Master’s with a minimum of 5 years’ experience or Bachelor’s with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in Data science, Computer science, Statistics, Operations research, applied mathematics, applied physics or any related field;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to approach challenges creatively;
- Strong communication skills to translate the findings into actionable business recommendations through rich data visualization;
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and tools;
- Self-driven and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
Technical Expertise required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience processing and analyzing large data sets;
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with the full Machine Learning product lifecycle process and able to take the initiative in making sure deadlines and requirements are met proactively;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with development toolsets such as SQL, PySpark, Python, Pandas, Scala.
Role Specific Information:
- Location: Remote;
- Annual bonus based on performance;
- Schedule: Daytime between Monday and Friday;
- Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.
