What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the administration and continuous improvement of the Alation Data Catalogue.
• Drive the adoption and effective use of Alation across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with data owners and technical teams to establish data connections and maintain data quality.
• Influence and educate stakeholders on effective data management techniques.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of data to support business objectives.

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Ideally a min of 5 years of experience in Data Catalogue Administration, preferably with Alation.
• Strong experience with Metadata management, data governance, privacy, and quality.
• Strong technical skills to complete Data Catalogue upgrades, configuration, maintenance and provide technical support.
• Ability to build strong relationships and drive engagement and adoption across the enterprise with stakeholders.

This is a HYBRID role in our downtown Toronto office.

Qualifications:

Advanced level of proficiency:

• Data management.
• Enterprise Data Management.
• Master Data Management.
• Metadata Management.

Intermediate level of proficiency:

• Critical thinking.
• Data governance.
• Data quality.
• Analytical acumen.

Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary: $74,800.00 - $138,600.00

Pay Type: Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
