Klohn Crippen Berger has an opening for a Senior Data Analyst, working with the global IT team, providing support to KCB’s engineers, scientists, and administrative staff. The Senior Data Analyst plays a crucial role in leveraging data to drive informed business decisions. They are responsible for analyzing large datasets, developing analytical plans, and ensuring the efficient execution of data-related tasks. The Senior Data Analyst’s role is pivotal in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business success.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Management and Strategy:
- Oversee junior data analyst personnel, ensuring efficient execution of their duties.
- Develop clear and well-structured analytical plans.
- Analyze large datasets, including administrative data, and other sensitive information.
- Shape the business’s data infrastructure, including data warehousing, reporting, and analytics platforms.
- Identify and communicate data gaps impacting functional requirements.
- Build and operationalize processes for timely data loading and accuracy maintenance.
- Support:
- Develop logical and conceptual data flows to support departmental project requirements.
- Guide various business departments in effective data utilization.
- Execute change management activities related to data analysis.
- Mine the business’s database for critical insights.
- Communicate findings to relevant departments and leadership.
- Identify and communicate risks and issues in departmental projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Apply advanced statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques.
- Analyze data to draw data-driven insights.
- Participate in complex or specialized data analytics projects.
- Collaborate on management initiatives.
- Leadership:
- Provide leadership to junior analysts.
- Work directly with stakeholders, business leaders, and executives.
- Prioritize work and remain functional under pressure and aggressive timelines.
We value your:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science).
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other relevant programming languages.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI).
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
The salary for this position is $95,000 to $120,000 per year. Salary is based on applicable experience, education, and skill level.
