Senior Cyber Security Analyst, IAM Onboarding (Global Security)
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Onboarding Team is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to work towards onboarding applications to RBC’s Identity and Access Management solutions in accordance with the IAM onboarding strategy and IAM goals. This role will require you to work with a wide range of technology and business stakeholders to ensure onboarded applications continue to comply with security standards. You will identify business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals and meet sponsor/stakeholder needs.

What will you do?
- Work with business partners and application teams across RBC Enterprise to explain the onboarding process and document requirements.
- Work with business partners and application teams to ensure onboarded applications continue to be compliant.
- Learn architectural patterns relevant to RBC’s IAM services.
- Provide consultative services to ensure requirements are following RBC Standards.
- Identify and report security risks in accordance with RBC Standards.
- Report on onboarding progress and metrics.
- Participate in all aspects of onboarding testing as requested by the onboarding team:
- Review, analyze, and define onboarding requirements as well as contribute to the technical development specifications.
- Test case scenario creation and assisting with test case writing.
- Assisting with DEV, SAI (UAT) and PIV testing.
- Provide support with tasks and ad hoc requests as required.
- Identify and implement solutions to improve the efficiency of the onboarding process.
- Provide direction in the optimization, efficiency, and capacity planning of initiatives.
- Function as point of escalation and resolution for incidents and project-related issues.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring within the team to drive optimal performance.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Extensive in-depth experience with IAM capabilities and solutions
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts and solutions designs for efficient security controls.
- Ability to manage, lead, prioritize, and execute with minimal direction or oversight in a high-pressure environment.
- Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Cross-functional collaboration and negotiation with internal teams for effective task completion.
- Proficient technical experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, etc.), Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence), and ServiceNow.
- Understanding data sets and generating meaningful reports.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience presenting to a wide variety of audience sizes.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with CyberArk PAS, SailPoint IdentityIQ, and Entra ID
- Professional certification(s) related to information security or information risk management such as CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP
