Senior Credit Analyst, Lifetech
As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will be a member of the DLL Canada structured credit team, adjudicating structured credit applications. In this role, you will have extensive interaction with department leads and the commercial teams, to ensure that decisions are aligned with DLL’s global risk appetite, and local risk policies and procedures. You will be responsible for making credit decisions within your authorized credit limit, as well as preparing detailed credit analysis including recommendations on transactions exceeding your credit limit to higher authority levels.
Day to Day
- Perform credit evaluation and risk analysis for complex transactions across several industries, including Construction, Material Handling, Transportation, Technology Solutions, Clean Tech, Healthcare, and Food and Agriculture.
- Complete analysis on financial, asset, market, and structure risk as a basis for decisions and recommendations.
- Perform annual reviews and customer re-ratings as assigned. Ensure compliance with global and local credit and risk management policies.
- Actively participate in meetings with customers and internal members.
- Provide direction and leadership on transactions to origination and sales support staff, with advice and counsel on structure, terms, conditions, and security recommendations.
- Decision credit applications as assigned.
- Escalate risks to Director, Retail Credit.

Essentials
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, with specialization in Business or Economics preferred.
- 7-10 years relative work experience.
- Expertise with financial analysis and credit risk management.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and written, with internal and external customers.
- Ability to thrive in a networked, agile, and fast paced organization.
- Broad industry knowledge.
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks.
- In-depth understanding of the day-to-day business issues and macroeconomic trends in Canada.
- Solid team player with a collaborative nature.
- Ability to work from home remotely/independently and in a virtual team environment.

Applicable Pay Range
$83,889 - $125,833
DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason.
