What you'll be doing

You will be joining the newly created Service Effectiveness team, reporting to the Director, Service Effectiveness, Business Support Services, and Centralized Instrument Data. The Senior Consultant is accountable for managing Data Governance, Records Management, Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Change Management for Capital Markets Operations (CMO). This multi-talented incumbent will be responsible for initiation, planning, execution and delivery of assigned projects and programs and provide support to CMO Leadership and other Stakeholders. You will oversee CMO Business Continuity Management (BCM) annual activities working closely with Line of Business (LOB) representatives. You will ensure the organization is prepared to maintain operations during and after a disruption, minimizing the impact on business activities.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Data Governance - 5-10 years experience with Data Governance, structures and models (metadata, entity relationships, referential integrity rules, data quality, data lineage, etc.). You will ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with data governance policies and regulations and identify areas for improvement. This includes providing support with Critical Data Element (CDE) identification and controls; research and determine new business data quality rules at the business term and data element level; work with Technology Partners to implement Executable Data Quality builds; Data Dictionary builds; enrich business and technical metadata; support the creation of data lineage; define and document new procedures to test data quality; manage Data Sharing Agreements; and Data Issue Management tracking and resolution along with ongoing monitor and maintenance of Data.
  • Subject Matter Expert - 5-10 years experience working with Capital Markets, particularly around equity, fixed income, options and futures. You will lead CMO Records Management and provide direction to LOB Senior Records Officers and ensure compliance to policies.
  • Change Management - You will effectively manage and communicate changes that impact CMO to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruption. Develop and implement change management strategies that address the human and operational aspects of change. Monitor and report on the impact of changes, identifying and addressing any issues or resistance. Changes may include but are not limited to Real Estate moves, Well-being, Social Committee, etc.
  • Project Management - You will control projects and programs, conduct regularly scheduled status reviews, provide business guidance, identify any deviations to work plan and recommend corrective action to rectify potential issues/constraints that may impact project success. Provide post-implementation management and support.
  • Leadership - Ability to lead, develop, and drive diverse projects and programs forward simultaneously by using effective planning, organization, communication and management skills while tracking to defined plans and being under time constraints. Broad strategic thinker, with clear vision and direction of world-class change management; ability to combine aggressive initiative with professional discipline and demeanor to accomplish difficult tasks through other people.
  • Collaboration and Communication - Ability to understand and communicate complex structures and ideas that involve analysis, processes, and solutions to others with different disciplinary backgrounds. Ability to construct and document operational procedures focusing on data integrity and data security. Procedures will apply a mixture of sample and full reviews over a scheduled period. Ability to manage expectations regarding business requirements/results ensuring quality.
