Senior Consultant, Data Analyst - Tax

• Design, build, and maintain Azure data services using Azure SQL Database, Data Factory and Power BI.
• Develop and implement ETL processes, Data pipelines, and Data integration solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
• Collaborate with the team to design optimized data models for WAM DATA tools.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and best practices are always maintained.
• Optimized system performance, ensuring the fastest possible data retrieval and efficient data updates.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging database technologies and trends.

• Data Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain interactive data visualizations and reports using Power BI.
• Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models to support business requirements.
• Data Integration: Integrate Power BI reports into other applications for enhanced business capabilities.
• Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to understand their data visualization and business intelligence needs.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Security: Implement row-level security on data and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
• Advanced Calculations: Use DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to perform advanced calculations on data sets.
• Documentation: Document processes and methodologies used in developing Power BI solutions.
• Experience: Proven experience in Data Analysis, Data Visualization, and Business Intelligence.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, Azure SQL Querying, Data Modeling, Alteryx.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate are a plus.
• Relevant experience for 5-6 years.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science.
• Extensive experience with data visualization.
• High proficiency in technical writing.
• Any exposure to Tax Business Domain is an added advantage.
