Responsibilities:

• Lead the kitchen team in preparing and cooking a variety of Italian dishes, emphasizing quality, taste, and presentation.
• Oversee the wood-fired pizza station, ensuring the proper operation of equipment and maintaining consistent standards for pizza quality.
• Collaborate closely with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards and regulations.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on Italian cooking techniques and culinary best practices.
• Manage inventory levels and food costs, optimizing resources while minimizing waste.
• Foster a positive and professional work culture, promoting teamwork and open communication among kitchen staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working in a professional kitchen, with a focus on Italian cuisine.
• Proven expertise in preparing a wide range of Italian dishes, including wood-fired pizzas.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a track record of delivering high-quality food under pressure.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Culinary degree or relevant certifications preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
